BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard Heart Foundation board has appointed Kathy Conrad as the organization’s new Executive Director.
The Brevard Heart Foundation seeks to make a positive impact within our local community through supporting healthcare initiatives that improve the lives of Brevard County residents. As an investment in the next generation of quality healthcare providers, the Foundation has also provided over $740,000 in nurse and medical student merit-based scholarships through our annual scholarship program.
“With a diverse professional background and a strong commitment to the community, Kathy brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the organization,” said BHF president and Health First cardiologist, Dr. Kevin Campbell.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Conrad holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and her early career was marked by a successful tenure in the banking industry, where she served as a private banker.
In this role, Conrad worked closely with affluent clients, helping them manage their banking, lending, and investment needs. Her ability to build relationships and understand the unique needs of her clients made her a trusted advisor in the financial sector. Following her successful banking career, Conrad transitioned into real estate, where she has spent the last eight years.
Her dedication and skill in the industry have earned her recognition and success, further demonstrating her ability to thrive in challenging environments.
Conrad’s deep connection to the Brevard community is also evident in her personal life. She lives with her husband, Tom, with whom she enjoys spending time on their boat and traveling. They are proud parents of two daughters, who also reside in the area with their families, ensuring that Conrad remains closely connected to the community she serves.
“The Brevard Heart Foundation is incredibly excited to have Ms. Conrad as part of our team,” said Campbell. “She brings a wealth of experience that will allow us to further our mission to provide scholarships for young people wishing to pursue healthcare careers in Brevard County as well as recognize those who are everyday heroes in our community. I believe that Kathy will help us take our Foundation to the next level.”
As the new Executive Director of the Brevard Heart Foundation, Conrad is eager to bring her extensive experience in banking, real estate, and social work to the organization. She is committed to advancing the Foundation’s mission of providing a positive impact within our local community through supporting healthcare initiatives that improve the lives of Brevard County residents.
The Brevard Heart Foundation is confident that under Kathy’s leadership, the organization will continue to grow and make a significant impact on the health and well-being of residents.
